Motel 6 Houston, TX – Willowbrook Mall

We stayed here for nearly 60 days with our children and dogs while my husband was working a travel job at a local hospital. The area was moderately safe and quiet, and both management and the cleaning crew were great.

I found out about the $50 cash deposit only after arriving, so I had to spend more money on Uber to get to an ATM. Management was poor and rude. The laundry room is only open from 9am to 9pm, which I also didn't learn until the last minute. I needed to wash clothes before work in the morning, but couldn't because most people with jobs are gone before 9am. I'll never use this location again.

There are roaches all over the place. My coworker switched rooms three times and still had them. None of the showers have any pressure or drain properly.

The staff were nice and the customer service was good, and the room was surprisingly clean. But on the second night we saw roaches, then kept spotting more every time we looked up. They made the stay unbearable. You get what you pay for, and I can't recommend this place until they deal with the pest problem.
