Quality Inn & Suites NRG Park - Medical Center

Breakfast was good, and the staff there kept everything stocked and were attentive. The front desk was friendly and polite from the moment I arrived. My room felt clean and comfortable, and the whole hotel was quiet, cozy, and homey. I felt safe, too. Such a lovely stay.

I booked online because we have someone close to us in a nearby hospital, and I was shocked by how run down the place was. The front desk woman was kind and helpful, but the surroundings were awful. We were in building B, where the entrance door was broken and rigged with a key card, so anyone could get inside. Outside, several AC units had been pulled apart, and the building was dark once you went in. Our room sounded like the door was open because we could hear the interstate beside us. I checked the window and found a homeless person's cart on the patio. The area felt questionable, and the property was very run down. I wouldn't recommend it.

It was easy to walk over to NRG Stadium, and I felt safe and comfortable, even knowing Houston has its history. The staff were super nice, and housekeeping made the beds despite all our clothes being on them, then put everything back where it had been. The suite was nice, and the carpets and rooms were surprisingly clean. Breakfast was amazing for what you'd expect.

We stayed one night, 2/3/26. The room was clean and the staff were great. Bed was okay, though I could've used bigger pillows. I liked having an extra blanket. All in all, a great stay.
