Sonder — Haven at Main

I had a positive experience living here, and I'm glad Ed and I reached a respectful resolution about my move-out charges. I noticed a cleaning fee had been taken from my security deposit, which surprised me because my lease didn't mention an automatic professional cleaning fee. I followed up with the leasing office, and Ed took the time to talk through it. I appreciated that management reviewed my concerns and that Ed listened, understood my position, and worked with me to find middle ground.

We'd definitely stay again. The apartment had been recently renovated and was clean and in excellent condition. I liked having a personal key fob for the parking garage, and the place is right across from the NRG Center. It's an actual apartment rented out like a hotel room, which I loved. The cable and internet didn't work for the first couple of days, possibly because they'd just been connected but not fully set up. Once it was fixed, everything was fine.

The shuttle to MD Anderson was useful, and maintenance handled things quickly. The place felt secure, although I didn't see any security staff. The staff seemed to care and were very accommodating. The room was better than we expected, and the lounge was great. There's a Target, the Super Target, less than a block away, along with lots of places to eat. We had a great stay.

Maya was wonderful when I toured the complex. She was patient with all my questions, knew her stuff, and made the process feel comfortable and easy with her friendly, professional manner. I had a great experience viewing the place and recommend working with her if you're thinking of moving here.
