A good place to start. They let you keep your phone 📱, but they watch the cameras and have microphones listening to everything. Even prison doesn’t have microphones.

Austin, the owner, was quick to answer questions and easy to deal with. The keypad entry is great, too. It’s a lovely house in a good spot, handy to Minute Maid Park and downtown without downtown prices. The green-tiled bathroom had a cool retro feel.

The remodeled interior was really nice and felt homey. I loved it. I’m not sure the location next to Scott Street is very safe, but the place itself was nice.

The condition is below average, and it doesn’t seem very well maintained. Reply to owner: I don’t leave negative comments without facts. I have photos the owner wouldn’t want made public.
