Howard Hotel

The bedding was the best I've had in a hotel of this size. The blankets were incredibly soft, and we could choose between foam and standard pillows. Our top-floor room was spotless, the shower pressure was great, and having a cool breeze come through the open window was a treat. We had an amazing time at The Howard Hotel and would definitely stay again. I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a good place in Hudson, NY.

We'd always stayed at B+B places on our earlier visits to Hudson, so we tried The Howard for something different. We're already looking forward to coming back. Joe, the owner, sent a text the day we arrived explaining the door codes and self-check-in. It was easy, and not needing to carry a key was nice. He was very nice, too. The hotel is in a lovely part of Warren Street. The décor feels modern, artsy, clean, and very tasteful, with clear thought put into making the place welcoming. It was extremely hot the day we arrived, so walking into a cool room with the AC already on was a great touch. Our room was simple, stylish, spotless, and modern, with a little old-world feel from the wood plank floors and area rug. The bathroom was especially handsome, with nice fixtures, classic subway tile, and a stunning marble floor. Plenty of towels were provided. The coffee station on our floor had delicious Lavazza in medium roast and decaf, cream packets in the fridge, fun yellow ceramic mugs, and water in a large glass bottle with a cork top. All those thoughtful details made this a place we really want to return to. For breakfast, The Maker is nearby, a bit pricey but delicious, with lovely service. Moto has good coffee and a yummy blueberry muffin. Olde Hudson also has good coffee, baked goods, sandwiches, and a fun high-end gourmet market. We highly recommend The Howard!

The room was quiet, meticulously clean, and had decent bedding, with everything working properly and the heat easy to control. The lobby was nicely decorated and warm on a cold evening. Communication about checking in at theHoward Hotel in Hudson NY was good. There were plenty of thoughtful extras, including real bars of soap and tissues, and a coffee maker on the landing. Everything seemed well considered. I'll stay here again.

We stayed one night in Room 101 and would happily return. The room was meticulously clean, with fresh linens, a smart TV, and a coffee maker. The location on Warren St is close to shopping and restaurants. I'd recommend it to friends.
