Spark by Hilton Wilkes Barre

Neil at the front desk was so kind and helpful. After a long day of travel, he even brought extra towels right to our door. Breakfast had Oatly oat milk, which was a big plus for dairy-free travelers like us. Hotels usually have watery almond milk, so this was a welcome change. The salt water pool wasn't very large, but it was wonderfully warm and relaxing, almost like soaking in salt water. It's the warmest hotel pool I can remember. Older adults could unwind there, while young kids could play comfortably, and everyone in the pool area seemed happy and relaxed. We had a surprisingly wonderful stay at the Spark by Hilton Wilkes-Barre and would absolutely return.

The bed and pillows were extremely comfortable, and the location was convenient. The breakfast was honestly awful. Since it's by Hilton, I expected better, but that wasn't what we got.

The whole building has been renovated, and the rooms are clean with no smell. The pool and its water were clean, with almost no chemical odor. Breakfast had bagels, fruit, yogurt, cereal, and hard boiled eggs, but no sausage or omelette. Sound carries through the connecting door to the next room. I heard a man swearing and yelling on the phone, and we also got a complaint the night before.

We had a large, clean room with a really comfortable bed, and the location worked perfectly for our needs. The pool and spa were among the best we've come across on our travels. We'll stay here again when we're in the area.
