Regency Inn And Suites

The beds and pillows are so comfortable, and they give you four pillows in a king room. The staff are friendly, the place is clean, and they're accommodating. There's a coffee maker with good coffee and a blow dryer in the room, plus Kleenex, shampoo, and soap. We stay here whenever work brings us to this side of town. There's also a washer and dryer, with soap available to buy if needed, an ice machine, and snacks at the office. It's comfortable and feels safe.

We booked four rooms for a week, but left at 11 pm after finding roaches all over the walls and floors in every room. Centipede-looking bugs were crawling on the walls too. The office guy blamed the rain. The beds were still made, and we'd been in the rooms less than 30 minutes. Our kids were crying while we sat in our cars trying to find somewhere else. Staff tried to kill the bugs by hand, were rude and careless, and didn't want to refund us. They said they would refund us, but then told us we couldn't sit in the parking lot. We saw them open the curtains in each room as if the rooms were vacant and ready to rent. People were fighting in the parking lot and throwing rocks at passing cars. It was a nightmare. We slept in our cars until 3AM, then luckily found a hotel that let us check in at 3:30 am.

A couple of months ago this was still “econo lodge.” They put us out because I was cleaning my own room with my own broom and supplies, and wouldn't let housekeeping come in. I only needed them for laundry. Completely discriminatory.

The staff are really nice, the rooms are always clean, and the AC works. It feels like a safe place to stay.
