Everything was very clean and comfortable, the furniture looked new, and the grounds were beautiful and well kept. The front desk staff were attentive and nice. The one-bedroom was spacious enough to sleep six with the Murphy bed and pullout couch, but storage was awkward. There were only four closet hangers, two nightstands with three small drawers, and three little drawers under the TV. We used our suitcases and the closet shelf for clothes. The large bathroom had no storage, so toiletries went on the counter or floor, and the single hook behind the door couldn’t hold everyone’s shower clothes. There was room for a freestanding dresser, though there was one in the kitchen area for the Murphy bed. Also, the cereal and soup bowls were so flat and odd!

The skiing was great, and we’d come back for that. The ski and pole valet was handy. The hotel is walk-out ski-in, with a short uphill walk to the run, so it isn’t quite ski-out. The restaurant and bar were only open from 4 to 9, so bring food to cook and alcohol for cocktails. Our king suite had a queen bed, and the furniture felt dated and not very cozy. Belt Parkway, the run the hotel is on, was the only one I didn’t care for.

We came for a friend’s wedding and paid $233 for one night, but couldn’t shower, get ready properly, or relax before the event. We’d driven 3.5 hours and called ahead about early check-in. They said it would be fine if our room was ready, but when we arrived at 11:30 AM it wasn’t. They said they’d call once it was, but never did. We waited in the lobby and by the pool for four hours while other wedding guests who arrived later got the same room type within 30 minutes. With wedding shuttles due at 4:15, the room was still marked “not ready” by 3:00 PM, so we had to change in the public restroom off the lobby. Only after my wife complained did the desk move us to a room that was available. Later we overheard that it should have been reassigned to us around noon. If she hadn’t spoken up, we might not have gotten a key at all. At checkout I explained how disappointed I was. The staff apologized but offered no refund, discount, or other fix. The hotel itself is fine, but management and service felt disorganized, unhelpful, and dismissive. I can’t recommend it if you expect basic reliability.

The room was clean, but the pool, hot tub, and restaurant had much more limited hours than I’d hoped. Monday breakfast was pretty lame, just apples and instant oatmeal.
