The front desk women were the one good part of this place. They were very nice and helpful, and I feel sorry for them. Otherwise, it was creepy and not worth the money. The owners were unfriendly and unprofessional, seemed to live in the parking lot, and their family stayed on the grounds. The owner's dad followed my son around the hotel when he took our dog outside. The pool was so nasty that I let my daughter get in once, then made her get out. The hot tub was broken. The rooms were filthy too: stained sheets and pillowcases that looked brown from being dirty, and mold in the shower. The shower curtain looked like it hadn't been changed in who knows how long. At least the water was hot. We stayed more than a couple nights, but nobody came to clean. They brought sheets and cleaner and expected us to do it ourselves. Don't trust the pictures, because nothing at the hotel looked like them. I'd recommend staying somewhere else.

I'm a mobile technician on a project and was meant to stay here for a few days. The woman at the front desk was nice, but the room hadn't been swept properly, with dust bunnies in the corners and behind things. The towels were old, used, and dingy, and dust was caked onto the heating and air conditioning unit. The beds were firm. As I packed up for work the next morning, I found roaches. I wouldn't recommend it.

After a long drive from Inkster MI, we arrived for work at midnight. I checked the room with a very bright light, pulling the furniture out and looking everywhere. All I found was a lot of dust bunnies, so they definitely hadn't swept well. We went to bed, then got up to leave in the morning. As I gathered my bags and covers in one spot, I turned around and saw a big lacockroach crawling toward me. I grabbed my things and got out of there. I hate roaches!

We were in the area to ride ATVs at Brimstone and enjoyed staying at The Grand Vista. The place was very clean, had nice bedding and plenty of room, and restaurants were easy to get to. No complaints at all.

I won't stay there again. They claim to serve breakfast, but that's just coffee if someone happens to come in that day. They charge whatever they want for rooms, yet 20 miles away you can pay $80 less and get breakfast.
