Sleep Inn & Suites Hurricane Zion Park Area

Breakfast was really good, with food I haven't seen at any other hotel. The walls were pretty dirty and there wasn't any shampoo in our room, but everything else was great.

We come to Hurricane often and usually stay up the road, but that place was sold out. We saw the reviews here and figured we'd give it a try. Never again. Our room smelled horribly like sour, sweaty socks. There was dust and dirt in every bathroom corner, scuffed walls with nail holes all over, and a booger on the windowsill. The fridge didn't get cold, so our energy drinks were warm in the morning. The beds were nowhere near queen size. We were in room 214 Jan 30-31, and I won't be back. Comfort Inn a few blocks away takes far more pride in its appearance and cleanliness. This place was a dump.

We reserved several rooms at a group rate and things went badly right from check-in. The front desk woman was rude and unhelpful. The second floor smelled strongly of Indian food, as if someone were cooking nearby. When we reported it, she said the owners lived upstairs and were the source of the smell. We asked to change rooms, but she said we'd have to talk to the owner. The owner, who was Indian, said she couldn't move us because it was too late. We asked for a refund, and she refused.

Sorry this review took so long to write. Plumbing problems at our house meant we had to leave for a few nights, and Sleep Inn and Suites gave us a room when we needed one most, while our home had no water. We really appreciate them taking us in. The room was excellent, and the friendly staff meant a lot during a stressful time. If we have trouble at home again, I'll happily stay here. Thank you so much.
