Motel 6 Idaho Falls, ID - Snake River

We picked this place for its airport location, and it was perfect. The rates are very reasonable, the room was clean, and the front desk staff are consistently friendly and helpful. It’s basic, but has what you need to rest before or after a flight. Marcos pizza through DoorDash arrived in a flash, too, and was delicious.

This stay brought back my confidence in the Motel 6 brand. I used to choose Motel 6 regularly because it was such a good value, but lately I’ve seen a sharp decline and had even thought about avoiding them altogether.

After a tiring day, this was a good place to spend the night. The room was clean, the shower and bed were good, and the staff were really nice both when I checked in and when I left. Perfect for what I needed.

The room was so plain, and a few small touches like artwork or an accent wall would make a big difference. Charging phones was awkward too: one outlet was hidden behind a nightstand, and the other was far from the other bed. The pillows were flat, so I was glad I brought my own. Towels were the very thin hotel kind, and there’s no shampoo, conditioner, hair dryer, pool, or breakfast. They do put out hot chocolate, coffee, and tea in the morning. Still, it was very clean, the sheets smelled nice, and the staff were friendly. Getting a room was easy, and when we reported that the bathroom sink stopper was stuck and broken, they fixed it right away. It was a basic place to sleep for a night, but felt overpriced for the experience. I’d give it 3.5 stars if I could. Thanks to the kind staff who helped us.
