Turpin Meadow Ranch

We loved the ranch setting, it felt like just the kind of place where you can leave daily hassles behind and breathe. The views on the ride were beautiful, and I was especially fond of my horse, Commander, who had a personality of his own. We visited on 9/8/25, and lunch before the ride was delicious. The praise I'd read for the Bison Cheese Steak was deserved. We took a two-hour ride with Emily, an outstanding wrangler who was knowledgeable, friendly, funny, and engaging. My wife was a first-time rider, and Emily patiently helped her along the trail so she felt at ease and comfortable. We'd love to stay at the ranch sometime in the future.

We stayed four nights as part of our Wyoming vacation, and the mountain and Teton views were amazing. The cabin was cozy, the restaurant food was excellent, especially the included breakfast buffet, and the staff were top notch. I've never stayed somewhere with staff who were so friendly and seemed to truly love their jobs. We rode horses, rented a UTV, hiked, relaxed, took a plunge in the cold river, and met some great people. Turpin Meadow Ranch is very well run. We can't wait to get back.

The scenery was beautiful, and the food and drinks were delicious, better than anything we had in Jackson. After a day riding horses, Mugs & Fran, and side-by-sides, we had a wonderful time at Turpin Meadow Ranch. The guides, hosts, and restaurant staff were excellent and made us feel welcome. Visit the ranch and meet these lovely people.

The morning horseback ride was incredible, even though we didn't stay overnight. We rode through beautiful wildflower fields with gorgeous views of the Tetons. Our leader was so helpful with the horses and made the outing fun. I think her name was Leila? She knew so much about the horses, area, wildlife, and plants and flowers. It's an experience we'll never forget.
