Days Inn by Wyndham Indiana PA Near IUP

I felt unsafe staying here alone. My boyfriend had gone to the store, and while he was out I went downstairs to meet DoorDash. The night desk worker watched me. When I reached the top of the stairs, a shirtless man was standing there with the door open and kept watching as I walked to my room. I called my boyfriend and asked him to come back. The man was still in the hallway when he arrived. We went downstairs together, and my boyfriend saw the desk worker staring at me again. We both really believe the two men were watching me together and thought my boyfriend had left for the night and I was alone. I wouldn't recommend this place to a woman, especially one staying by herself.

The people were friendly, but the breakfast was pretty bare: Froot Loops, stale muffins, and coffee from one lukewarm thermos. There was no milk, waffles, or yogurt. The lobby has a couch and several "skill game" machines, which didn't exactly make it feel like a place that draws many families.

We got a quiet, clean room with decent parking, and it was a quick stop for the rest we needed. The bathroom fan was loud, though, and there was only one roll of toilet paper in the holder. We didn't try breakfast. We've heard it's a basic continental spread, with cereal and muffins but no eggs, sausage, or bacon. Still, it's a good place to stop for a night's rest or a few hours in the morning.

We needed a room because everything else had sold out, and for the price this did the job. The first room's toilet ran and cycled every 30 seconds. The second room wasn't much better, and the window concerned me (see photo). The front desk was better than most, and the stay was about what I'd expect from the brand. As happens at other properties too, when I book through a third party it seems like only accessible rooms are available.
