Exceed Inn

Please don't book this place. We stayed one night for a concert, then left the next night, and ran into problem after problem. The door wouldn't lock, the Roku didn't work, dead flies were all over the AC box, and there was no trash can or toilet paper. The place smelled, wasn't clean, and didn't look like the pictures. We had booked in January 2026 through Travelocity for a stay at the beginning of May, but when we arrived they couldn't find our reservation. There were no rooms available, so they weren't helpful and basically made me pay almost $100 more than I had planned. There wasn't even a manager there when we pulled up. We had to call the number on the door three times because they were on a smoke break. It was also hard to find the location. At check-in, we were told the $50 security deposit would be refunded. A week later I called, then tried again a week and a half later. A man said he'd look into it, but never called back. Five days after that, a different woman answered. They already knew it was me because my name was on a post-it note. Instead of returning the deposit, they accused me and my boyfriend of stealing their towels. We'd needed shower shoes and replacement towels because the ones in the room were stained yellow and red. The front desk guy told my boyfriend to leave the used towels outside when we were done, and that's what we did. He even folded them neatly, though he didn't have to. When I called again, they said the charge had been posted and there was nothing they could do. They wouldn't refund the deposit and made up this excuse about the towels. We can't understand why they'd accuse us of stealing something so nasty. We asked for the manager and were told we could leave a message, but he probably wouldn't call back. The place doesn't care about guests and just wants their money. Horrible people and atmosphere, and terrible customer service. Believe the negative reviews. I can't imagine the positive ones are real, unless the people work there and are trying to boost the place. This motel shouldn't be in business. Close it down.
