The room was clean, and everyone we met during our three days there was friendly and helpful. But Colleen at the front desk was the reason we had a place to sleep that night. We got in around 2:30 AM after a five-hour drive for a volleyball tournament, after our first hotel reservation fell through. Everywhere else we tried was full, so we arrived hoping this hotel had a room. Colleen was having computer trouble, but kept working on it and even started calling other hotels in case she couldn’t fix the issue. Nearly an hour later, at about 3:30, she got it sorted and booked us in. We thought we might have to sleep in the car, but she just kept at it. So grateful for her kindness and work ethic. We’ll book here again. Colleen, you’re amazing!

A decent place to stay, and I’d come back. It was clean, the staff were friendly, coffee was available all day, and breakfast was complimentary in the morning. Nothing felt sketchy or dirty. Some things were dated, though, including the elevators. The bed pillows were small, and the bathroom door had a broken handle or lock.

I’ve stayed here several times because it’s near our company offices and easy to reach from the highway. On this trip, weather delayed my flight by three hours despite my telling the hotel I’d arrive late. I reached the entrance at 1:51 AM and spent more than 15 minutes locked out, with nobody at the desk and no way to reach anyone. I called both the hotel’s main number and Marriott’s main number several times without getting through. A sign said to ring a bell, but there was no bell. After a long travel day, that was a rough experience. I can’t recommend staying here going forward, given the lack of service and the potential safety issue of being locked outside.

The breakfast wasn’t appealing, and the parking lot had potholes. We were also right by the highway, with loud banging outside that kept us awake all night. Inside, the room felt dingy, as if it hadn’t been cleaned or used in a while. There were old crumbs under the desk and along the bed, plus dust, cobwebs, and a stink bug. It was hot and humid when we arrived, like the air hadn’t been running. The pillows were uncomfortable. The elevator smelled strongly of smoke and looked long overdue for a cleaning. Service was nice, though not always available. We booked because of the Marriott affiliation, but don’t plan to use Fairfield again.
