Nestle Inn

We chose Nestle Inn for a night in town to see the Candlelight Concerts at the Cyrus Place, and the location was great. We could walk everywhere and felt very safe. Our room was nice and clean, and contactless check-in and checkout gave us so much freedom. We had a great stay!

We really enjoyed breakfast at the cafe next door, which was included with the stay. The innkeepers also gave us detailed directions to free parking nearby, since there's no parking on the property. We slept well and liked waking up to the inn coming to life the next morning. It's a great change of pace from hotels. So much is within walking distance, and a short scooter ride gets you to just about everything else. The place has so much charm and ambiance that I'd come back. It would also be a brilliant spot to rent for a big family gathering.

Nestle Inn made for a great stay for my 10-year-old daughter and me. We came from Michigan to see a show at the Murat Theater, and chose the inn because it was nearby. Even with it 15 degrees outside, we could walk in just a few minutes to the theater and the restaurants on Massachusetts Ave. It felt safe, even at 10 pm. We got lucky with a spot right by the inn on Walnut Street. If you don't, the inn offers free parking at a school lot about a block and a half away. The house is old, so the floors creak, you can hear outside noise, and it was a little cold. There wasn't much noise, even on Saturday night, and those small drawbacks were minor next to all the thoughtful details: space heaters and warm blankets, cozy robes, toiletries, downtown maps, popcorn to make after the show, drinks in the fridge, and libraries to explore. The room and bathroom were spotless, and clearly had been updated and well cared for. I'm a bit of a neat freak, so I notice that stuff. Breakfast at the local cafe next door was included in the room rate. I loved that the B&B supports local businesses that way. Thanks, Nestle Inn. We'll book again if we're back in Indianapolis!

We had a wonderful time at Nestle Inn and got upgraded to the king suite, which was amazing and had more than we could need. We slept so well and enjoyed tea and coffee before checking out. The innkeepers were welcoming and helped us plan our stay. After checkout, we had a delicious breakfast at Coat Check Cafe, with vegetarian options too. I loved the history there. I only wish we'd had more time at the inn. We'll definitely be back, so don't hesitate to book!
