Arlo Motel

The room felt like a proper hotel room, and I was surprised by how modern and clean everything was. We flew in for one night to attend a concert at the Kia Forum, and this was easily my best motel stay. The shower pressure was great, and the woman at the front desk was welcoming. I’d come back if I’m in the area for another concert.

I’d had a room reserved for months when staff messaged to say they were cancelling because a “large group” had booked the whole property for my dates. Afterwards, I noticed plenty of rooms still listed online, at more than three times what I’d paid. That’s a terrible way to treat customers who are counting on having somewhere to sleep.

Never booking this motel again. They cancelled my reservation at the last minute, leaving me with nowhere to stay. I ended up sleeping at the airport and then on the street because no rooms were available. Customer service picked up when I called, then blocked my number so I couldn’t call back. They were rude and careless and showed me no mercy. Don’t book here, they’re so unprofessional!

After a long flight, I arrived around midnight expecting to check into the room I’d reserved more than a month earlier. They wouldn’t honor the booking or give me a room, so I was left on the street trying to find somewhere to spend the night. What a disrespectful way to treat someone.
