Housekeeping was on point, and the place was really clean. I work the same hours all seven days, though, and breakfast starts at 6am on weekdays but 7am on weekends. Parking was a pain, especially with my company truck, since the hotel shares its lot with B52, a restaurant. I was given a first-floor room, with the meeting room between rooms. People kept moving around in front of my door late. I tried to be understanding since it's a hotel and people are people. Overall, it was great aside from those few things.

The room needs some attention. Several light switches didn't do anything, there were bugs, and the AC/heater wouldn't shut off when it should. After I set it to 69, the room got much too hot. I also noticed the outlet by the sink wasn't GFCI protected. No bed bugs, though. Breakfast was good. Otherwise, it was an average hotel.

Stay away if you care about privacy. The general manager came into my room while I was asleep in my boxers, even though the DO NOT DISTURB sign was on the door. I complained to the front desk and got no explanation. They said I'd receive points or a free night, but nothing came until I complained to IHG rewards. The general manager didn't seem to care, even though she had entered without permission and invaded my privacy. Update: still no response from the hotel. They don't care about privacy.

We could hear children squealing and people talking in the hallway because the doors aren't sound insulated. That was my only small complaint. The hotel itself was beautiful and immaculately clean, with soft beds, a good breakfast selection and top-tier staff. There's a movie theater and several nice restaurants within walking distance.

Stacy makes breakfast, and he's fantastic, so considerate and clearly good at his job and happy doing it. I highly recommend staying at this holiday Inn and having breakfast. I rarely find a breakfast I can happily eat every day for a week, but here I looked forward to it every morning.
