I nearly wrote this hotel off after checking in with the overnight staff member. She was rude for no reason. She asked for my ID but wouldn't take it when I held it out, so I put it on the desk and then she took it. She didn't hand my credit card back either, just tucked it behind something on the desk. When I asked, she said she had returned it. I couldn't find it until I spotted it hidden behind a sign. She acted like she hated me, being there, and life. I've stayed here for years while traveling between Oklahoma and North Dakota, and I thought I'd never come back. But the day staff changed my mind. The cleaning crew were amazing, and the front desk guy went out of his way to be great. One bad apple shouldn't put me off the whole hotel. I'll be back. I love the breakfast, especially biscuits and gravy, and the hot tub hours work well. Since I never check in early enough to use the pool, it's nice to be able to swim in the morning as well as the evening. I just read another review, and they definitely seem to be describing the same overnight woman. She's awful and ruining the whole hotel experience.

For such an affordable price, I was really impressed. The hot buffet was great, especially the waffles and sausage, and staff were friendly and helpful. The pool and fitness center looked nice, though we didn't use either. Our room was pretty nice and clean, with a very comfortable bed. The chair and curtains need replacing, but the fridge was a good size and the TV worked well.

It wasn't a bad place to stay, but it needs some small updates to become a very nice hotel. The hall was dirty, and the room could've been cleaner. The carpets and beds need updating, and hard floors would be better in hotel rooms. There were what looked like drill holes in the TV stand and table, and some kind of paint was drizzled on top of the air conditioner.

Dan and ivory at the front desk are the best. They do everything they can to make your stay fantastic. Bryan works hard at breakfast to make sure everyone gets fed and starts the day right. Everyone on staff also greets you with a smile and hello.

I highly recommend the Baymont. Steve and Bryan were wonderful at breakfast, so kind and courteous, and extremely helpful with everything we needed.
