Courtyard by Marriott Dallas DFW Airport South/Irving

The staff were wonderful, especially Ashley at the front desk, and we really liked the cafe. Our recently updated room was very clean and huge, so it took a while to cool down. Great hotel.

I've stayed here twice and have been happy both times. The bed was comfy, the room was clean, and the service was great. I didn't use the other services, but I did order food from the kitchen. It was delicious, though pricey.

The bartender was amazing, and the burgers I ordered at the Bar were perfect. The coffee at the Starbucks attached to the bar area is really good, too. After my 1200 mile road trip, the front desk got me into an early check-in room and even offered me water. Everyone was so welcoming. They also let me check out late so I could shower after picking up my load due east bound. One of the most welcoming hotels I've ever stayed at.

Raul is the best bartender and host I've ever seen, and Angel is the nicest and best manager in the hotel business. The rooms were spotless, and the whole place felt relaxed. The staff treated me like a favorite cousin, with a kind of personal warmth that made this feel like a family-run place despite the Marriott sign. In a sea of airport hotels, the Courtyard South at DFW felt human and comfortable. Service was almost suspiciously nice, like my mom had called ahead, and the staff remembered my name. I usually find airport hotels pretty joyless, but I could actually relax here. It felt more like a family pit stop with good coffee than airport limbo. If sterile and soulless is your thing, go somewhere else. For comfort and actual humanity, this is the place. I'd miss a connection just to stay again. 5/5.
