Quality Suites Irving-Las Colinas

The building feels old, and the room was pretty average, not as nice as the Hotels.com photos. At night, the exterior and even the hotel sign are so dim that the entrance feels sketchy, and it would be easy to trip on the step. Room 200 had no hot water. When I told the front desk, they said other guests had reported it and asked me to let the water run for five minutes, but it stayed cold. The staff were friendly enough to move me to another room, though having to change rooms in the middle of the night was a hassle.

For $100 a night in Irving, I suppose this is what you get. The staff were nice, but breakfast wasn't well stocked, and they never had enough of the things we wanted. The rest of the room was fine, but neither of us slept well because the mattress had a huge dip in the middle and no support. I can't say whether every room is like that. Also, none of the doors in the building seemed to shut all the way. A mediocre two-night stay for my husband and me.

The people here welcomed me as soon as I parked, and the Las Colinas hotel was peaceful, quiet, and clean. They even had popcorn mid morning. In July 2025, I moved here after domestic violence and the possibility of a shooting at a different Choice hotel. That front desk attendant did nothing and wanted my room number instead of the problem room. I hated having to leave when my credit card said, “Check out.” I hope I can afford to return and see James, Jim, EMSI, Mo, The Mgr, the night staff, and breakfast staff. Thank you for making the stay worthwhile.

On a November, '25 work trip, I had a rough night at the nearby La Quinta, then found this place. The rooms are dated and a bit worn, sure, but it's quiet, the bed is comfortable, and the staff are nice. For an affordable stay near the convention center in Irving, TX, this is a great find. I'd absolutely come back.
