516 Seascape Oceanfront Condo With Pool Access in Wild Dunes

The beach was peaceful and nice, which we enjoyed, but we expected much more for what we paid. It was such a letdown after hearing good things about Wild Dunes. We left before Sunday checkout, and the staff never followed up on any of the problems. Communication was poor. We stayed for a week in Seascape 412. The condo had most of what we needed, but several things needed attention. The ice maker didn't work, and getting ice from guest services took all day. We had to call several times and send texts before the towels for each bathroom arrived, which took a full day. Water appeared in front of the refrigerator each morning. Maintenance came after we called, but couldn't find anything wrong. The TVs weren't easy to use, and there were no instructions for getting all the channels. Maintenance couldn't help and told us to contact the property manager. Housekeeping cleaned the condo on Wednesday, though the information we received said Thursday. We hadn't secured our belongings, so that was unsettling. Guest services said housekeeping had Wednesday down, and after I sent a screenshot showing Thursday, I got no response. Getting into the master bathroom shower was dangerous. You have to step up 2-2.5 feet into the tub, with no grab bar or anything to hold. I'm sure that's why the website doesn't show pictures of this bathroom for potential renters. The condo pool was dirty, too. With all the families staying there, it should be cleaned more often. We saw someone clean it on Friday.

The building renovations made getting through a bit of a hassle, but the condo itself was gorgeous. It had everything we needed, was newly renovated, and sat right on the beach.

Beautiful views, and everything was updated. The place is well kept.
