The rooms weren’t clean when we arrived, and even though our agreement said trash would be collected every third day, nobody ever came to any of our 15 rooms. The trouble got worse around the meeting room: we cleaned up and left the garbage where the contract instructed, but staff then locked us out and later made us leave. They said the manager had decided, yet we couldn’t speak with the manager and our calls went unanswered. Two late checkouts were also cancelled just an hour before we were due back from our event. Kids who were staying behind for a noon competition were told to leave by 10, and staff entered their rooms at 8 without knocking. One child was in the shower. We’d stayed here last year without problems, but this year was awful. I wouldn’t bring a team here again.

We’ve stayed here twice and I’m about to check in for a third time. The prices are very affordable, and breakfast has both hot and cold choices. We’ve had a suite when our son came with us and king rooms on the other visits. The beds are comfortable, the place is clean, and the front desk staff have been friendly and helpful. It’s convenient for getting around, though not within walking distance of downtown Ithaca, and being a little outside the center helps keep the rates down. I don’t understand the 3.8 rating. It met expectations and went beyond them for me, so I’d give it a 5.

A quick check-in and checkout, good prices, and a generous breakfast selection made for an easy stay. The place was quiet and felt safe, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. The rooms were neat and clean in what looked like a brand-new facility, conveniently close to Ithaca College. Highly recommended.

We had plenty of parking, and the room was roomy, though there were a few scuffs here and there. Breakfast had enough choices for a quick bite. The front desk guy was nice and offered cookies and hot drinks in the cold Ithaca weather. I’d stay again if I needed to.

Chauncey at the front desk made my stay feel special. He greeted me warmly, paid close attention, and made check-in easy. He answered all my questions with a real smile and was both professional and friendly. That kind of service made me feel valued as a guest.
