Debbie at the front desk helped us find a room within our budget for two nights, even though nearly everywhere in town was full. We're evacuees from the cliff creek fire and had to arrange somewhere to sleep at the last minute. She was kind, thoughtful, and understanding about our situation. The rooms are spacious, the beds comfortable, and it was such a relief to have a hot shower, fridge, and coffee maker. I also liked the recycling and glass cups in the rooms. So happy with the angler inn!

The mattress was hard as a rock, and without fitted sheets they bunched up underneath us. The awful pillows didn't help, and it made the whole week uncomfortable enough to nearly ruin our trip. They really need to replace the mattress and sheets, and until then I wouldn't recommend the place. The rest was much better: very nice, helpful office staff, a very clean and roomy room, and outstanding maid service with daily cleaning, fresh towels, and supplies. The small TV definitely needs an update to a much larger one. The location is outstanding, just a five-minute walk to town.

For work last week, this was an affordable place with everything I needed, including coffee and a refrigerator. It was clean and comfortable, and the guys at the front desk were super nice. I liked that the cups were ceramic or glass instead of creating a lot of plastic to throw away. I'd recommend it.

After four different hotel nights while traveling through the Park and Montana, this was the least satisfying stay. It looked good online and was downtown, but I should've paid attention to the other reviews. The chairs were hard, the pillows were bad, and the place was generally unpleasant. It was also the only hotel without breakfast. We did find the Bunery, though, and that made the stay nice.

The Wi-Fi only worked now and then, and the tub drain didn't work. After 7:00 there was no hot water, really none. When we asked, we were told, "we never run out of hot water." The American flag was in disgraceful shape, torn and dirty. The place is very outdated, and the person who checked us in was not helpful. Her only dinner recommendation had entrees over $40, and a man in the room, who wasn't another customer, laughed when I asked for something a little cheaper. Book early for Jackson so you can get better accommodations.
