The fireplace in my room made the whole stay feel warm and cozy, and daily housekeeping kept everything spotless. The staff were welcoming from the minute I arrived. Breakfast was a real highlight too, fresh and delicious, easily one of the best hotel breakfasts I’ve had. Anvil Hotel has a lovely mountain feel, and I’d happily come back.

For what we paid, we had a really good stay. It’s a simple place, but the lobby staff were always friendly, housekeeping did a thorough job, and free parking was a nice bonus. I especially liked being so close to a green space for taking our puppy out, with waste bags provided. We’d stay here again without hesitation.

Glorietta’s was such a draw for us that we went back more than once. The cocktails were great, the atmosphere was fun, and the Italian food was worth another visit. Our friend and Jackson Hole liaison, Cortney Sprayberry, also made the trip feel personal and helped us plan a schedule full of activities and local hidden gems. One highlight was an unforgettable snowmobile day at Turpin Meadows Ranch, which we’re still talking about. Back at the Anvil Hotel, the heated bathroom floors were heavenly after snowy days, and the rooms felt like a nice mix of rugged and refined. The little mercantile had thoughtfully chosen items that made for lovely reminders of the stay. We loved the lodge-like coziness, the cast-iron fireplace by the entrance, and how warmly the staff greeted us as we came in from the snow. The hotel feels both quaint and grand, with sweeping mountain views and the Tetons all around. It had the rustic, cozy Jackson character we were hoping for. Between the stay, Cortney’s recommendations, and everything Jackson Hole has to offer, this winter trip exceeded our expectations. A 10 out of 10 for us, and a place we’d recommend to anyone dreaming of a magical winter getaway.

The common room games were a lot of fun. My brother, sister, and I played Yahtzee for hours. Cortney did a wonderful job making our stay memorable, and we’re grateful to her. The hotel feels genuine and owner cared for, with thoughtfully put together spaces that don’t have that corporate feel. It’s cozy and in a great location. We’ll be back.

The rooms are simple, but clean, comfortable, and laid out with care. Everything you need works, and it makes a good base for Jackson. The lobby is cozy and stylish, somewhere you actually feel like spending time. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and genuinely cool. It’s a motel with a bit of polish and plenty of personality.
