Mr. Curtis and Ms Murial cleaned my room, and it was spotless. I also appreciate GM Ms. Ebony, who checks and inspects rooms when she works to make sure the property is clean and safe. Ms Kenitia is the customer service star at this location, and Ms. Jackie is helpful too. Mandy is helpful, and the two breakfast staff are always professional, patient, and pleasant. We're continuing our journey at the Holiday Inn Express in Byram Mississippi, and I forgot to mention Ms Kenitia in my previous review.

The hallways were clean and smelled fresh, and the rooms have USB chargers by the bed and on the desk near the TV. The staff were very friendly, breakfast was good, and the coffee was too. There's an indoor pool and fitness room, and the first thing I noticed walking in was how updated the facility looked.

The room was clean and the staff were friendly. The breakfast area was the cleanest we've seen across our several stays at different hotels.

I've booked plenty of hotels and never had trouble getting a refund for an error or at least a stay in exchange. Here, I booked at 8 p.m. for the next day, but when I arrived they said they'd charged me for the day I placed the order, while I was still in my room in Florida. I explained that I wouldn't logically book a day I didn't need, and showed them messages about meeting someone the next day and my arrival details. They still wouldn't listen or work with me. I ended up paying for two days to stay the one day I actually needed. I've done electrical installations at retail sites all over the country, and this was probably the worst hotel experience I've had. I should have gone with a Hilton or Homewood Suites. I'd advise spending $30-40 more somewhere that cares about travelers.
