Angela at the Front Desk Window made check-in easy, even though everything was handled through the window. She was warm and professional, greeted me with a real smile, and took care of things quickly. It was late, but she still made me feel looked after. You can tell she cares about guests and takes pride in her work. That kind of service is rare these days. Motel 6 is lucky to have her. Thanks, Angela, for going above and beyond!

We left a day early after booking several days. When I returned the key, the clerk said I was “good to go” and that the last night would be refunded to my card. Nearly a week later, there was still no refund. The property then told me I stayed longer than I actually did, which isn't accurate. The location is also a little misleading: it's on a one-way frontage road, so reaching nearby restaurants means driving about a mile and a half the wrong way before turning around. The room phone didn't work, despite free local calls being advertised. That morning a housekeeper asked if I needed anything, and I said no. She hadn't seen me leave the room for a few days, I guess she thought I was out for the day. She came in without knocking and seemed shocked I was there. I was there with my children after we lost power in the winter storm. The room looked clean at first, but later I found cigarette butts under the air conditioner, clearly left by a previous guest. There were serious electrical problems too. The only working outlet was at the vanity. The one behind the desk was already being used by the TV, refrigerator, and microwave, and the bedside outlets didn't work, so the phone, reading lights, USB ports, and other plugs were unusable. That was a major hassle with children. I reported it to the front manager and was told an electrician would come the next morning, but nobody came. I followed up and it still wasn't fixed during our stay. The maintenance problems, lack of follow-through, and unresolved billing were all disappointing. I hope management addresses them for future guests.

My husband got the room for work while he was staying in town for the next few months, trying to save money. He booked it before he knew my daughter and I would come visit for a week or two. After just two nights, she started coughing horribly. The doctor tested her for everything and it was all negative, so I checked the room myself. One pillow was covered in mold, and another was discolored, maybe from sweat or something. My daughter is two years and six months old and very allergic to mold. She'd been sleeping on that moldy pillow and got very sick after only two nights there.

Angela at the front desk was just what we needed after a long day of driving with my sweet dog. The room was really clean, and there were lots of cable channels. There are security cameras around if that matters to you, though I wasn't worried. I have a pitbull mix, so people tend to keep their distance. They don't know she's a big baby. Thanks, Angela!
