We loved the peaceful setting and the breathtaking views, and the self-check-in was handled really well. The ranch is a wonderful base for Grand Teton National Park, since staying here helps avoid the heavy traffic on the main road. It’s a bit far from downtown, so bring groceries, but the quiet is part of the trade-off. We stayed three days during an 18-day road trip across the US, and this was our favorite place. The accommodation was cozy, lovely and well equipped; an electric kettle was the one small thing we missed. We visited in early May, so couldn’t make full use of the ranch amenities, though I’m sure they add even more during peak season. A few things did disappoint: there was no daily housekeeping, the kids’ room had a trash can left full by the previous guests, the carpet could use refreshing, and we weren’t allowed to use the fireplace.

Keith helped us find a beautiful spot on the property for our vow renewal, with a stunning view for photos. He checked in about it and was there for our Norse Pagan/Christian style ceremony, which went perfectly. Just before it, while we were dressed on the back deck, seven or eight deer came within a few feet of us. A blessing from the Aesir gods once again. The wildlife gets very close if your demeanor is right. This February visit was our week-long return after a three-day stay in October that we loved so much we came back for our 20-year anniversary. We were nervous about Wyoming’s winter mountain conditions and overprepared with winter tires and chains, but didn’t need them. The road to the property was well maintained, with guard rails and no scary spots. Our clean, well-equipped two-bedroom suite was the same one we’d requested for its convenience and view. We dealt with four representatives: Eric, Keith, a blonde-haired, light-eyed woman with a strong European accent, and a black-haired, brown-eyed woman of Latin descent with an accent. All were excellent and friendly, and Keith did the most to accommodate us. There were hardly any other guests during our February 1-7 stay, and those there were quiet and harmless. The lobby had coffee, apples, fresh-made cookies, a lit fireplace and a reasonably stocked shop with local clothing, alcohol, decorations like candles and nightlights, and jewelry. Wi-Fi was spotty and unreliable, but that wasn’t a big deal with so much else to enjoy and those views. It’s a peaceful Jackson location, a couple miles from town, a short drive from Teton Village and not too far from Jenny Lake. We’ll stay again. We love Jackson WY more than any vacation spot we’ve visited so far, including Hawaii. Thanks, Keith, for helping with our anniversary event!

The room was nice but dated, and pretty overpriced for what was offered. It was clean and had everything we needed. I was surprised to learn the townhome is individually owned and Spring Creek mostly just maintains it. The people at the front seemed reluctant to help with the issues we had. There were extra fees added after check-in and before checkout, on top of whatever fees came with booking online.

The hot tub worked and was nice, but depending on where your townhome is, it takes a 5-10 minute walk or drive to reach the main building. The steam room didn’t work, and we asked to have something fixed but it never was. Horseback riding was okay if you don’t mind going 3 mph, and the views were good. The BBQ was so overpriced it felt like a total scam. You’re put in an individually owned townhome built in the 70s, while Spring Creek just pays people to clean. The amenities are old, and the beds, TV and bathrooms are absolutely terrible. The false advertising and high price made the whole thing feel like a money grab, not worth it.

Our mornings were the best part: coffee in hand, fireplace going, and the sunrise reflected on the Tetons from the living room. It felt calm and magical, exactly what we hoped for, and my son loved it too. Even the twin bedroom had a breathtaking Teton view, with stars visible from the bed. We slept with the curtains open and woke to the morning light. Townhome 3101 felt warm and quiet as soon as we walked in, with heated floors, a beautiful fireplace and a layout that worked for our family. Three bedrooms and three and a half bathrooms gave everyone room. The location was convenient, about 15 minutes to the Village and 15 minutes into town, while still peaceful at the house. If you want a high-end Jackson Hole stay that feels comfortable and luxurious without feeling staged, this is it. We’d absolutely return.
