The Rockwell Inn

The location made it easy to walk to shops, restaurants, and coffee places, and the bathroom floors were heated too. We had a last-minute problem with our previously booked hotel, and the Rockwell managed to fit us in for two nights in a row. Everyone was friendly and accommodating. I think the price is worth it, and I’d definitely stay again.

We didn’t rent a car and still got around easily. The Start Bus stop is two blocks away, and the ride to Teton Village and the gondola takes about 55 minutes. It also stops at Albertson's for groceries. The town is trying out a Start on Demand service for rides downtown, though we didn’t use it. The inn’s airport shuttle was prompt, and the drive took about 10 minutes. The inn is also an easy walk from the main square one way and the Elk Refuge/Visitor Center the other. We had a family of three in a two queen bed kitchen suite in the main building. The beds were comfortable, and the extra living space worked well. Staff were friendly and helpful, and breakfast had several choices from 6am-9:30. Coffee, tea, and other drinks were available in the lobby during the day, and we enjoyed the hot cookies at 5pm whenever we caught them. We’d absolutely come back.

I’ve stayed here three times, and I keep coming back for the location in Jackson, WY, clean rooms, good complimentary breakfast, warm afternoon cookies, and nice lobby. I’ve never had any issues. I like booking a room with a kitchen so I can make my own food. The main building’s rooms were renovated in the last two years and look great, and they offer free bicycle rentals. I’ll be back. I’d suggest calling the hotel directly to see whether they can give you a better deal than hotels.com or similar sites, since those don’t currently have a good rewards program.

There was plenty of space for the four of us to spread out, and the room was clean. The staff were really nice and accommodating, especially when we needed to extend our Jackson Hole stay. The hotel’s convenient for Jackson Square, our planned activities, and restaurants. I’d happily stay here again.
