WoodSpring Suites Jackson Hub City

Tina and Shirley at the front desk made the difference during my stay at WoodSpring Suites Jackson Hub City. They went above and beyond, with warm, friendly, outstanding service and real empathy that meant a lot while I was away from home. The room was clean and the property accessible. Every interaction with management felt professional and thoughtful, and whenever I needed help, the front desk responded quickly and patiently with a smile. The facilities were well kept, including a clean, easy-to-use laundry area. I also appreciated the complimentary coffee in the lobby. I felt supported and able to relax the whole time. I’d absolutely stay again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

The hotel is fine otherwise, and the location is great, with lots of convenient places to eat at different price points. But don’t pay for the Wi-Fi. It’s a rip-off: you pay for a service that’s limited, and you have to keep calling to get it working. It only lasts about 5-10 minutes before you’re back on the guest Wi-Fi. I don’t recommend it.

It’s still pristine in mid-2026, with very clean rooms, and the price is about half what competitors charge. I don’t know how they keep rates so affordable, but I’m glad they do. This brand new hotel sits just off I-40 in Jackson, Tennessee. Rooms and beds are a little smaller than average, the TVs don’t work and keep showing “no signal,” and there’s no free breakfast. Maybe that’s part of how they keep costs down. If simple works for you, you get a lot for your money. The kitchenette has a full-size fridge, big sink, and two-burner stovetop, but bring your own dishes, utensils, and cookware. There’s a large trash can and a laundry basket, presumably with somewhere to do laundry. The shower is nice, and I appreciate the very strict no-smoking policy. WoodSpring Suites isn’t glamorous, but in all my travels to all 50 states, it’s the best accommodation I’ve seen under $100 a night.

This newly built hotel is right off the interstate, in a very quiet area with plenty of parking. Our room had a stove, microwave, refrigerator, and sink, plus clean towels and bedding. We checked everything with a UV light and rated the room 10/10. There’s complimentary coffee around the clock but no breakfast, and vending machines are available. The rooms don’t come with cooking utensils or fancy Paul Mitchell shampoo and conditioner. They do provide a small bottle of shampoo and bar soap. Bring your own extras if you want them.
