The woman at the front desk was friendly and easy to talk to, which was the one good part. Otherwise, this place felt like a trap house. The hotel photos look nothing like the real place, so they should take them down. The rooms need proper cleaning, new carpets, tubs, and furniture, and a fresh coat of paint. Please get that done ASAP.

There's security patrolling, which helped me feel safe as a woman. It looks like the place has new owners, and the rooms seem recently renovated. There's still work to do, but they appear to be trying hard to change the reputation left by the former owner. A few things could improve, but I'm satisfied overall.

The room was worn out, dirty, and smelled strongly of marijuana and mold. It was unbearable. When I told the front desk woman, she seemed indifferent and did nothing to fix it. I decided it felt unsafe, with people outside drinking and who knows what else, so I left and gave up the payment. The Expedia photos and reviews are misleading, and that low price should've been a big warning. This place is falling apart. Horrible experience. Do yourself a favor and book somewhere else.

The room itself was spotless, which was about the only good thing. There were no towels, fridge, or microwave, and the shower-tub had no drain plug or way to switch to a lower faucet. At nearly $100 a night, that was a lot to put up with. The lobby vending machines took my money. Three of the four only accepted coins, and the coin machine was broken. The front desk said they don't handle cash, even though paying the room rate in cash, apart from the deposit, had clearly been presented as an option. I came away feeling like I'd been robbed softly and politely, and hoped the next day might bring new staff and a miracle of hospitality. The payment situation was confusing from the start, and I felt gouged. The clerk said only the card deposit would be charged, but immediately charged the full stay to my credit card. I found an online rate of $41 a night and was told they'd match it, yet two nights with the $50 deposit came to $197. I wasn't told the price before the charge, and they charged me for a single-bed room even though they knew I needed two beds. When I offered to book online at the lower rate and pay the deposit there, I was told they'd already run my card and I couldn't. Update: they kept my deposit, and I know they had no reason to take it.
