The breakfast was a letdown, with cereal that seemed stale and a juice machine that wasn't working, leaving very little to choose from. The hotel's surroundings also looked dirty and poorly maintained, and the bedding smelled as though it hadn't been refreshed between guests. Check-in was frustrating from the start. The desk associate asked for my ID in a dismissive way. I had booked a king and requested a smoking room, but was first told only queens were available and that the property was nonsmoking. It felt like my reservation details had been ignored after a long travel day. I left a night early because of these problems. Getting the early checkout handled and asking about the unused night was difficult, too. I understand there are policies, but a more helpful response would have mattered. The lack of professionalism, cleanliness, and flexibility made for a disappointing stay. I hope management improves the experience and pays closer attention to reservations.

We keep coming back and love this place. It's always clean and tidy, and we've never had trouble with the rooms, TV, or service. Easily one of our favorite places to stay.

The room itself was nice, and the air conditioner worked well. It was clean and comfortable, but the pool shown in the ad was empty in the middle of a very hot July. I'd paid online for a confirmed two-bed, nonsmoking room. At check-in they had me down for one bed and said Hotels.com sometimes changes bookings to the cheaper available option, so I'd need to pay more to upgrade. I said I'd cancel, and they ended up giving me the two-bed room for just a few dollars extra. Still, it was disappointing that the confirmed booking wasn't honored as expected.

For what it costs, this is a great place. There's construction on the main road, but the rooms are decent. Breakfast has coffee, waffles, sweets, donuts, and cinnamon rolls. Walmart is within walking distance, and there are restaurants nearby.

Mark and the other employees have always looked after me, whether I'm here for a day or a month. I've built a relationship with them over the years, and when anything comes up, big or small, Mark makes sure things stay quiet and there isn't riffraff around. For the price, it's close to Walmart, other shops, and restaurants. I choose this hotel over the others every time.
