The spacious room and full kitchen made the MainStay Suites feel like a home away from home. The location in Jacksonville, North Carolina is handy too, right among restaurants, coffee shops, and shops. I could walk or drive two minutes for food or errands. Brie at the front desk really made the stay. She went out of her way to make check-in easy and made me feel welcome right away. She was attentive, professional, and helpful. I’d highly recommend the hotel to anyone visiting.

Brie at the front desk was the standout for me. She welcomed me warmly, offered helpful recommendations, and took care of the details with a smile. The MainStay Suites in Jacksonville, North Carolina is also in a great location, with plenty of dining and shopping right nearby. The rooms have lots of space and a useful full kitchen setup, which works well for longer stays. You don’t feel cramped, and the layout is practical. Definitely a place I’d book for a trip to Jacksonville.

In room 402, the refrigerator and freezer weren’t getting as cold as they should. The bedroom TV had no satellite signal, so I couldn’t watch it, and there were circular water marks on the ceiling that need repainting.

The staff were rude, including the male manager and the woman working nights. They act like this is a five-star hotel. Terrible service. Don’t waste your money.
