We booked a weekend away without really knowing where we were headed, and I’m so glad we found Wildwood Inn. The setting is gorgeous, with lots of nature, hiking, and swimming nearby. Our room was lovely, especially the deck out back. At night the view is just amazing. The staff were warm and wonderful, and the whole place made me feel at home. I really didn’t want to leave. I’d happily come back again and again.

The cabin was comfortable and had puzzles and horse magazines to keep us occupied. We also loved the easy, clearly marked trails and the beautiful views along the way. Wildwood Inn’s cabins, horses, and trails were all a hit with us. Will and Lisa are lovely people, and they rescue, rehabilitate, train, and re-home horses. Some stay for trail rides, and they’re also planning a retreat for troubled teenagers.

Breakfast was the best I’d ever had, and the owners’ hospitality made the stay even more special. The rooms were clean and comfortable, with lovely decor and beautiful quilts. My husband and I first came across this B&B about 19 years ago while driving around looking for somewhere to stay, and we spent two nights here. Our son, who has special needs, was just one at the time. My husband promised he’d bring me back someday, and I’m so happy to see the place is still open. We hope to return soon, and next time I’d love to stay longer. It’s such a relaxing, quiet, lovely place for a peaceful weekend away. Thank you so much for our stay all those years ago. We’ll be staying here again. It was clean, the people were kind and helpful, and it worked perfectly for our group heading to Pickett to ride ATVs. The photos don’t really show how nice the place is.
