Sonny was a good guy and did his best with what he had. The room was basic, but clean, and it didn't have that dog pee smell I've run into at a lot of motels. Beds were okay, too. The price worked well for a place to stop on a long drive, and breakfast was good, with waffles and scrambled eggs.

We were traveling from California to Colorado when our car started giving us trouble, and the staff on duty late that evening, who I think were the owners, were so kind and helpful. They were polite, gave us useful information, and offered us a great discount for our pet.

The breakfast wasn't available because they said they were changing recipes, and the staff made us uncomfortable by staring while I cooked dinner on the back of my pickup. I had put up the privacy sign, but they ignored it, and some cash went missing from my bag. It wasn't much, but it was still disrespectful. On top of that, the rooms were filthy, and the door took a full shove to open even when the key worked. I had to get another room key because it kept failing whenever I came back. This was by far the worst hotel I've stayed in, and I won't return.

It was noisy, and the bed wasn't comfortable. The place didn't seem well maintained. Breakfast came with sausage that was gross and seemed probably frozen, plus scrambled eggs. I'm diabetic, so I couldn't eat the waffles or fruit.
