Super 8 Jasper TX

I stayed for a month and had a fantastic experience. The rooms had just been redone and were clean and nice, and the cleaning staff always did a great job tidying up. Chasity at the front desk was the best. Sam Rayburn lake and Martin Dies state park are both nearby, too.

I came to Jasper from the Carolinas for work and didn’t expect the Super 8 in this small Texas town to be so accommodating. As a Wyndham rewards member, I paid $75 total with taxes, and the room was as good as a Hampton room that costs $150 a night. The owners had apparently remodeled recently, and did a fantastic job. The room and rate were both great, and I couldn’t be happier with the stay. The front desk staff, including Mrs. Chasity, were polite, professional, and courteous. Housekeeping had everything in order. Props to Cynthia J, Angelica V, Elena C, Enrique C, and Diana G in housekeeping, and Venkata M, Chasity P, and Madysen A at the front desk. You’re all doing a great job! It was a refreshing, pleasant surprise. This was Thursday, April 9, 2026.

The rooms have been renovated, with kitchenettes and large, comfortable beds. Chastity at the front desk was a great host, and the cleaning staff were attentive and did a really good job. The only small snag was that the morning attendant is still learning English, so there could be some miscommunication. I had a really positive stay, especially for Jasper, TX. Chastity mentioned that I might post a review if I enjoyed my visit, so here it is.

The hotel was quiet and the rooms were clean. Since it’s under new ownership and being renovated, breakfast wasn’t available and the laundry facilities weren’t working. I also had a couple of room maintenance problems related to the renovations. The woman on the day shift who checked me in was very professional, got me moved to another room, and went out of her way, including spending out of pocket, to make things right. I’d recommend this place if you need somewhere to stay in or near Jasper, Texas. They’ll do what’s needed to make your stay pleasant and satisfactory.
