The stay was more bearable because our group was all together, and the kids had fun. The homemade waffles were a plus, though my kids didn't like the breakfast, and sharing a community gallon of milk felt weird. The room TV was small and the lighting dimmer than I'm used to. The front desk staff were pleasant and friendly, with no complaints there. But there wasn't really a lobby where guests could gather. The hotel smelled spicy, not like a pleasant hotel, and I didn't find it clean. My microwave had a thick layer of dust, and there was stuff splattered on the AC and heating unit. I couldn't get an extra towel until morning. The bathroom was small; the shower and tub looked modern and were really nice, but there was a rust ring. I stay in a lot of hotels, and this was one of my least favorite.

I was here for business, and it was easy to get to. In the bathroom there was no hand soap or toiletries, just the empty tray where they should have been, so I'm glad I'd brought my own. Dark hairs were all over the room, especially in the bathroom. The chair was badly stained, as was the decorative bed cover draped over the foot, which serves no purpose. The floors badly needed washing and edging.

After a 16-hour drive for a death in the family, we arrived at 8:30 in the morning. A male front desk worker, I think his name was Karin, sorry if I spelled it wrong 😑, got us into a room quickly after the housekeeper cleaned it for us. The hotel smelled great, the location was perfect, and the staff were so kind. The room was clean. Thanks again!

Our third-floor room was clean and looked recently renovated. The rate was about half what the other big chain hotels in town charged, and the location was central. We were there Friday and Saturday nights in early September 2025, and would stay again if we return to Jeff City. The lobby was clean, and the clerk who checked us in was courteous and helpful. They had a complimentary daily local newspaper at the front desk. Breakfast was free, with hot biscuits and gravy, sausages, waffles, cold cereal and other items.

The room felt clean and welcoming, and the lobby was well kept. Staff we met were all helpful and friendly. There was a very nice range of items at the continental breakfast.
