Quality Inn & Suites Jefferson City

The room was never cleaned during our six day work assignment. No one made the bed, brought clean towels, cleaned the bathroom, or took out the trash. The tub faucet ran constantly, and the water never got past warm. Every piece of white bedding was yellowed, and the mattress felt at least 30 years old. The elevator was broken for our entire stay, and we were assigned a fourth floor room. The lobby and office had AC, but the stairwells and hallways were hot. Ceiling tiles were missing from the hall, with insulation and pipes showing. The ironing board leg was broken. They replaced it after I asked, but the replacement wouldn’t stand on its own, so we propped it against the desk. Don’t expect much if you have to stay here.

The lobby and dining area floors were muddy, the bed was flat and completely worn out, and the nightstand was barely attached to the wall. There was no hot water in the shower, either. This was one of the worst hotel stays I’ve had. When I asked the clerk if anything could be done, she said I had to contact Priceline because I’d booked through a third party. After 26 hours of back and forth, Priceline agreed to refund 10.... Dollars... They were no help, and the staff here seemed apathetic at best. This place is disgusting. Avoid it at all costs.

Our softball team stayed here, and one of the girls found blood stains on her bed linens. She asked the front desk for fresh ones, but they said they had no more to give her. The rooms were pretty crappy, too. The AC barely worked, and both the toilet and shower faucet kept running. I definitely wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone.

The location puts you right near everything you need, like a grocery store, gas stations, and restaurants. Staff were courteous and helpful, and they’ve brought back muffins and danishes, which are handy to take along. Our room was spacious and very clean, and both the AC and heat worked great. Breakfast was hot, fresh, and had lots of variety. A great place to stay in my book!
