I’d misunderstood the map and should have looked more carefully. As a base for exploring the area, it works well, and it was clean, with good electronics and Wi-Fi. There was an occasional Palmetto Bug, which is Florida, but finding one in the silverware drawer was too much for me. I hadn’t realized this was a self-contained place generally rented by the week or month, for seasonal workers or snowbirds, rather than a motel. Nothing wrong with that, I just should’ve paid closer attention.

It’s a cute, well-made place, but I wish they’d said to bring everything yourself. There was nothing there apart from towels. For what it is and where it is, it felt a bit pricey.
