I first found the Ghost City Inn six years ago while traveling solo to Sedona, and finally got to return with my wife. We loved spending hours on the private deck, watching the red rocks across the Verde Valley as the light changed and tourists made their way up into Jerome. Our Verde View room was cozy, and the bed was super comfortable. The egg muffins in the lobby were delicious each morning, and the big band era music playing there around the clock added to the experience. We only saw a staff member at breakfast, which suited us fine. This isn't a luxury hotel with big city amenities, and its quirks may not work for everyone. Mobility could be a challenge, the floors creak, and the deck isn't quite straight. For us, those imperfections were part of what made it special. We also enjoyed seeing the lovely skeleton couple on the front porch whenever we came and went. We'll be back next year!

The valley view was lovely, and the breakfast snacks were tasty. They came with fresh fruit, which kept us going until lunch. We stayed about a month ago and found the place cozy, comfortable, and very clean. I'd stay here again.

We had the Cleopatra room on the first floor. It was small, but sweet and warm, and the whole place was so clean and well kept. The bathroom was quite nice, with an updated sink and a glass-enclosed stall shower. The owner's little touches feel heartfelt and make it seem like you're staying in someone's home. Fresh, yummy coffee and muffins are set out in the lobby for breakfast, and the view from the room and porch is magnificent. It's a short walk or drive to the main part of town. A wonderful place for a night or two, and we'll return.

Those views are to die for, and the decor is fascinating. We love the Ghost City Inn. Ingrid and Nicole are such lovely hosts, always pleasant and welcoming.

We had a great weekend at Ghost City Inn. The rooms are on the small side, but perfectly comfortable, with comfortable beds. The antique furniture gives the lobby and dining area a wonderful atmosphere, and the breakfast bites were yummy. Sitting on the front porch to watch the sunrise was lovely. Customer service was excellent from before check-in right through to after we'd checked out.
