Extended Stay America Columbia Laurel Ft Meade

I’ve been to other Extended Stay locations that weren’t very clean, so finding this one in Jessup was a blessing. Ms.Stephanie welcomed me warmly at check-in and helped with what I needed. Thank you so much, and may God keep blessing you and the staff! 🙏🏽❤️

We’ve seen roaches, found food and trash under both beds, and smell weed in the hallway every day even though our room is nonsmoking. I checked under the beds because our cats go there for shelter. There are four of us in the room, but twice a front desk employee stopped my adult son and his partner to ask for IDs. No one asked my husband for his, or even asked for the names of the other people on our reservation. The room itself is okay, but several things are pretty worn: burn marks on the kitchenette counter, a beat-up dresser and nightstand, and ripped bathroom linoleum held down with staples. I’d read the reviews and tried to keep an open mind, especially after all the praise for the staff.

The staff are great, and both the rooms and the hotel amenities are kept very clean.

I lived at Extended Stay America in Jessup, MD from Nov 2018 to Jan 2021. The staff were kind, caring, and professional the whole time. They all deserve promotions!
