The room was beautiful and spotless, with new windows, new furnishings, and lovely lvp flooring after the recent remodel. We had Room 302 on the top floor, facing the street, and I loved looking at the architecture across from us. Even though we were on the main drag, it was very quiet. My one suggestion would be to lower the beds. I'm 5'3" and had a hard time climbing in, though once I was up there it was fabulous. It was our first time in Jim Thorpe, and The Y met our needs for location, ratings, and price. We arrived early, and Beth(?) was great about telling us what was open and where to eat. It was midweek in winter, so many shops were closed, but finding food was no problem. We brought my mobility assist service dog and the staff were great with her. There was a continental breakfast, a bar, an elevator, ice machines on the 1st and 3rd floors, fairly priced lobby snacks, and free tea and coffee there too. We only had one night, so didn't get to enjoy everything the hotel offers. We'll be back when it's warmer and there's less snow. Thanks to the ladies and gents, keep up the great work. We'll return.

Ten of us came for a girls weekend and had a wonderful time at the Y. The hotel is lovely, the rooms were clean, comfortable, and great, and breakfast was included. There's also a small bar by the lobby. Everything is within walking distance, and the bed was very comfy.

The beds were really comfortable, and it was a quiet place to stay. We could see Race Street from our window, and having the ice machine right outside the room was handy. It was our first visit and we'd be happy to come back.

A birthday card from the staff was a thoughtful touch and showed how they take care of the little things. Everyone we met was friendly and helpful, and the room was clean and comfortable. The Y on Broadway is in a great location. The only small issue was the barn style bathroom door. It didn't have a latch and would sometimes slide open by itself if I didn't close it carefully. We'll definitely be back.

We'd usually pick a B&B, but The Y is now our go to hotel in Jim Thorpe. The central location was great, parking and breakfast were provided, and booking through the hotel website came with two bar coupons for a soft drink, beer, or wine. There was even a TV in the bar, which was perfect for wild card weekend. Our balcony king room was clean, spacious, and comfortable, with good beds. The elevator was another plus since many old buildings don't have one. The owners and staff were friendly and chatty, and we enjoyed hearing about the hotel's history. There's also a spa on site, though we didn't get to try it. We'd like to return in warmer weather and make use of the balcony, and hopefully the spa too.
