Holiday Inn Express Johnson City by IHG

It was quiet up on the hill, set back from the road, and I liked the location. The whole building and our room were clean, everyone was friendly, and the beds were comfortable. I especially liked having two soft and two firm pillows on each bed. Breakfast was complimentary, good, and plentiful. The heater didn’t work properly, and they had no extra blankets. Even so, we’d stay again.

Anastasia at the front desk was incredible, professional, and very accommodating when the uncertain weather meant we needed to extend our stay. Holly at the desk and Sarah on the hotel staff were also wonderful, kind, and personable. The team made us feel at home and really represented the brand well. Hats off to Holiday Inn of Johnson City TN, Orr Street location. I was traveling with my two children during winter storm “FERN” [1/24/26] and came across this place by chance. I’m so grateful for the excellent staff and service, great breakfast selection, and wonderful hot tub area.

The service was wonderful overall, except for a tall woman with facial piercings. We heard her on the phone saying she was tired of doing the housekeepers’ work without being paid enough. When we saw her, she was so kind, which made the way she spoke about others especially off-putting. Head of Housekeeping, do better. That’s your job.

The rooms are consistently clean, breakfast is delicious, and the hospitality is A+. Holly, Bethany, and the rest of the staff always make me feel welcome and remember every detail. That’s why I’ve been a loyal customer for ten years. From making reservations to arriving and staying, the hospitality is always second to none.
