Best Western Plus Yadkin Valley Inn & Suites

The room was clean and a good price, and the staff were very friendly. The beds were comfortable and the decor was nice, though it's an old hotel that's being updated, so it may not be at its best right now. In-room coffee was decaf only, with no tea. In the shower there was bar soap for the body and a separate bar for the face, but no lotion or liquid body wash. Still, it's cozy and reasonably priced. I'd recommend it and stay again if we're in the area. Thank You

The photos posted by Beat western don't match the hotel's current, gross condition. The room was sad and old, with nasty, aging walls and dirty hallways. The security doors don't work properly, and the parking lot feels scary. The lobby smelled like pot and dogs. We should have carried on to the Spark Hilton in the next town, which was cheaper and brand new. Don't book this if you have other options.

The rooms are spacious, but stuffy, and the cleanliness wasn't satisfactory. The carpets are dark, and I found lots of hair from previous guests in the bathroom. The tub drained extremely slowly. Breakfast was the usual unhealthy, cheap selection, and the location isn't special unless you need a stop during a long trip. Taking everything into account, I don't recommend it and don't think it's good value.

Breakfast was decent, and the Hispanic woman serving it was very sweet and kind. The front desk staff were nice and hospitable. But the room was only average: mildew stains on the curtains, dingy sheers, and just three tiny, hard pillows on a king bed. There was no blanket, only a poster-thin bedspread. Of the four vanity lights, just one worked. I asked for bulbs and was told the fixture was the issue, so it was too dark to apply makeup. A tiny cup of Mac in cheese cost $4. Outside, a broken cigarette bin had tipped over and spilled cigarettes on the ground. These seem like fixable minor issues, but the place was average otherwise.
