The front desk lady was really kind, and the furniture and fixtures have been updated. Still, you can tell the building is old. The firm bed frame made a ton of noise whenever we moved, and the bed and floor shook on the second floor when certain people walked by. The parking lot and outside were fairly well lit, but it felt super creepy after dark. I didn't feel very safe taking the dogs out to potty. Just weird vibes all around, apart from the lady at the desk.

The clerk working 11pm-7am on March 2nd 2026 couldn't even be bothered to stand up and greet us. She was rude as hell. When I called to ask if the hotel allowed pets, she put me on hold for so long that I eventually booked after seeing online that it was pet friendly. When we arrived, I had my cat's health certificates and rabbies vaccine, but she said cats were flat out not accepted and told me she'd cancelled the reservation. I never got a cancelation email. I explained that we were military traveling on orders and had used a gov. Card, so it was important to get that email. She stayed silent for a good 5-10min, then I left. A very weird experience. That's not what the brand stands for. Get up and greet guests instead of making us feel like our reservation inconvenienced you.

The front desk staff and housekeeping were very good, and my bed was clean and neat. The room seemed clean apart from the stains, but there were stains on the cloth furniture, carpet, and bathtub. There was a lot of noise through the walls and from outside. I could hear the neighboring TV loudly as I tried to fall asleep, then the person next door vomiting and flushing in the morning. People and traffic going past the hotel were audible too. My exterior door didn't close all the way at the bottom. The sink sprayed water if I didn't turn it on slowly and low, and paint was peeling off the bathroom ceiling and the interior door, along with the wood.

The breakfast was pretty good, with biscuits and gravy, sausage patties, scrambled eggs, potatoes, waffles, cereal, and more. We stayed one night while traveling with my partner and a dog, in a King suite that was roomy enough for 2.5 people 😁. The shower was nice, and having the sink outside the toilet and shower area was handy for two people getting ready at once, though the sink itself was a little small. The bed was on the firm side but fine. The refrigerator was turned down and there were no instructions, so our travel ice bags didn't completely refreeze overnight.
