Super 7 Inn

The owners were rude and disrespectful. We had to change rooms twice, first because there was no heater, then because the next room was trashed and its door wouldn't close all the way. In the morning we found a bedbug. I took it to show the disrespectful sandy man, but he refused to reimburse us or give us a free night's stay. Unprofessional from the top down. I wouldn't recommend this place for a short stay or a long one.

My sister died in this hotel room last Sunday. They threw away her belongings, though I understand Missouri requires them to hold onto them. I'm in Nevada and called the hotel, but they won't give me answers. I looked up what the law says they should do with someone's belongings after they die, and they didn't follow it. This is still being investigated. I wouldn't recommend the hotel. What they did feels disrespectful, inhumane, and degrading. I intend to find out what happened to my sister at this hotel, even if it's the last thing I do.

I only stopped here because I was on my bike and needed shelter from the rain and the coming storm. Checking in at 2:30 in the morning and still having to leave at 11 was frustrating. Their rollover time wasn't until 7 a.m., so I was basically paying for a shower and a nap, but I needed to get out of the storm. The attendant was nice, which was the best part. The room had water already sitting in the ice bucket, no trash can, and a sign warning guests not to put things in the toilet. The shower was tiny, the bed was small with thin sheets, and there was hair around the shower. Most concerning, the door had no safety latch, so I wedged a chair under the handle. A woman was also yelling out the door or window early in the morning. I know you get what you pay for, but this was ridiculous. If most of their business is renting to locals, they should stick to that instead of taking travelers and the general public.

The woman at the front desk was nice and eventually refunded about half our money. Still, we spent most of two days and two nights out of the week we'd paid for at the welcome center and in the Super 7 parking lot, in heat over 90 degrees, while she tried to find us a room without bed bugs or damage. We tried four rooms and none worked. It was hell. I deserved a full refund. The bites all over us hurt a lot, and I hope we didn't bring any bugs home.
