Super 8 by Wyndham Joppa

We stayed a whole week after checking in early, and that was no issue. The staff were great about accommodating us, especially with our pets, which matters a lot to us. Our room was comfortable, clean, and freshly remodeled. There’s a pond with geese out front, guest laundry, and breakfast. It’s easy to get to I-95 and places like Baltimore and Philadelphia, and there’s a gas station right next door.

We found it easy to walk our dogs here, and the rooms were clean, quiet, and a good price. It’s set away from the main highway, which helped keep things quiet. Everyone we met was really nice, especially Gina, who works the front desk and housekeeping. Our dogs loved her. This was the best place we’ve stayed with our pets in Maryland this weekend. Thanks for being so welcoming. We won’t consider staying anywhere else.

The room was in great shape, modern and clean, and I was impressed from check-in through the stay. William, the manager on duty, had a good mix of charisma and focus. The hotel company was doing system updates sometime around 11 pm to 4 am, and he knew about it and made sure my card wouldn’t be charged twice and that my details were right. I usually stay either at a Ritz level or an Extended Stay America, so I’d never tried a Super 8 before. Weather stretched out my drive between Boston, Raleigh, and Atlanta, and I was exhausted after getting gas nearby. I saw the Super 8 sign and got a nice room for the night without a reservation. The outside looks like a standard motel, but inside it was great. There was even a room service setup, though I didn’t use it. My room was perfect and well maintained. If you’re driving a long way through the US and passing through this area, it’s a great place to stay. Sorry my stuff was all over the place in the attached pictures.

The front desk employees were friendly and helpful. Our non-smoking room was very clean, the beds were really comfortable, and the shower had a nice adjustable spray. I’ll definitely stay at Super 8 Joppa again when I’m back in Maryland.
