The best thing about this place was that it accepted pets, which is why I picked it. The surrounding area was okay, and the room was apartment-styled with a decent kitchen and was mostly clean. Service was tolerable, though the elevator sometimes had a faint weed smell. I paid for two beds but got a single, with no apparent change in price. The sheets smelled faintly of urine. The real value here was being pet-friendly.

The rates are reasonable for an extended stay, but getting help is hard. After 3pm nobody is at the desk to check you in. Rooms smell like bug spray, the interior is outdated, the elevator feels sketchy, and lots of things in the room don’t work. I personally would never stay there again.

On my second day, the room key stopped working. It took me 45 minutes to reach someone at the hotel. I know it was Christmas, but if guests are told to call a number after hours, somebody should answer. The TV worked for maybe 10 minutes. I’ll never stay here again.

The room was filthy and had only one bed, even though we had booked and paid for a double. We went back to the front desk, but they refused to accommodate us or refund the money. They told us to accept the room or leave, so we left because there was no other choice. This feels like complete theft by the hotel and management. We’re considering filing a police report for theft of services. We also complained to Choice hotels, the parent company. Buyer beware. The hotel is supposed to be part of third-party networks such as expedia, but when we tried to check in, they said they weren’t. We’d already been charged by expedia, which was nonrefundable, and the hotel charged us directly as well. If zero stars were an option, that’s what I’d give.
