Our room was roomy enough for four, and the refrigerator was large. On weekday evenings, the hotel held events where guests could meet other travelers and staff. We did happen to stay during a roof replacement that went on for several days, so some areas were closed for safety. Do visit the brewery for the awesome FOOD. Even if you don't drink beer, there's a food truck and a covered picnic area between it and the brewery. The beer is good too.

The staff were courteous and knew their stuff, and gave us good dining and equipment rental recommendations. The room key also came with discounts at local vendors, which was a nice surprise. Our room was clean, and the kitchenette was a plus. I booked the trip so my wife could learn to snowboard, and she loved the place. Heidelburg Inn has a cool rustic feel but is still current, not old and dusty. The shared space has a beautiful, relaxing fireplace. My wife is already asking me to book again. We plan to return soon, maybe as early as this spring for fishing.

We got a few extra minutes to finish drying our clothes, which was helpful. Laundry is available from 6-10pm, with the last load at 9pm. The suite was larger than I expected and had good facilities, including a decent kitchenette. Checkout is normally at 10am, but we arranged to leave at 10:30.

A lovely spot to get away from work for a bit and switch off. I didn't get to relax by the fireplace because I was out eating, drinking, and being merry lol. My room looked out over the lake and snow-covered mountains. So beautiful!

Step outside, take the stairs, and you're right on the Main Street of June Lake, close to the grocery store, pizza, and coffee shop. Heidelberg Inn is a gem, with a lot of historic charm. The main floor feels like the inside of a National Park lodge, with a stone fireplace and pictures of famous actors who stayed at the Inn long ago. The rooms are comfortable, with full kitchens, large bedrooms, and updated bathrooms.
