I travel for work about 15% of the year and have done so for six years, and the Kalamazoo House is one of the coolest, most beautiful places I’ve stayed. I had room 10 on the third floor, with the big bathtub. A hot bath left me so relaxed that I fell asleep easily. The bed and pillows were incredibly comfortable, and the decor was amazing. For an old house, it’s very well maintained. I had to leave early for a morning meeting, so I didn’t try breakfast, though I’m confident it’s amazing. The mini fridge had complimentary soft drinks and fizzy Waters, and there was a good selection of tea and coffee. If it’s available, I’ll stay there again next year when I visit my client in Kalamazoo. The only other place I’ve stayed that was just as cool was an old Victorian house, a 12,000-square-foot Airbnb I believe was in St. Paul, Minnesota.

Jeff and Amy were welcoming and gave us suggestions for local food and sights. We also added a couple’s massage, which was worth the small extra cost, and breakfast the next morning was excellent. My wife and I spent the weekend away together, our first bed and breakfast stay as a couple, and the Kalamazoo House was everything we hoped for and more. It’s in a great spot, within walking distance of most downtown places. We’d recommend it for a quiet, relaxing stay, and we’re already figuring out when to come back.

We’ll be back. From the warm welcome to the lovely breakfasts, snacks, and cookies, we had an incredible time. The large hot tub and very comfortable bed were perfect for relaxing, with the fireplace and huge TV making the room feel even cozier. We also chose the popcorn, massage, and wine mixing experience, and all of it was amazing. Definitely recommend everything. Thank you all for such a perfect escape ❤️

A charming bed and breakfast right in downtown Kalamazoo, with a lovely atmosphere for a romantic getaway. We enjoyed a cold winter weekend away and especially the large soaking tub. Breakfast was delicious both days. There are thoughtful extras like in-house massage, gift packages, and in-room breakfast, which made it easy to treat ourselves. Our host was always easy to reach by text, and you can tell the owners put a lot of care and love into the place. I’d absolutely recommend it to anyone staying in the area.

From our third-floor room, we could see toward the museum and downtown, and the room itself was lovely. My husband and I had a wonderful stay at The Kalamazoo House. The owners were kind and thoughtful, and happy to answer our questions about the house and nearby places to eat. We'd definitely come back.
